I searched into three of the agencies out of the 7 that I was given to research to understand the differences between big and small agencies, the first thing that I had noticed is that smaller agencies have less employees, therefor each employee they have is most likely working multiple jobs to keep the agency above and working as there is a lot of different types of work in graphic design while the bigger ones will have more employees therefor jobs will be stressed out and people can work more efficiently and produce better quality work.

I had also noticed that yes small agencies can and do for rather well known companies they are mostly companies that you either see in the shop and forget about them or it’s a brand that went virial online, its not really companies such as Facebook or such and as that may be their end goal to work for someone that big, they will need more employees and more work added onto the website to impress them, small agencies also update socials a bit more often to keep that attention flowing to be more noticed

In bigger agencies because of more employees and better quality work coming from them they work for big companies that could own millions such as facebook, bbc and more, I had also noticed on the bigger agencies the websites are more minimalist and simple with a touch of tech to give it the Mordan look but it does make it simple yet also confusing such as on the dixonbaxi website the home page can come across as confusing as you cant move your mouse and can only press on the squares that are in front of you but once but they have a very large portfolio that also makes bigger companies interested in them.

Project management deadlines and communication Successful teamwork and projects rely on clear communication and the same end goal, art direction is also not just important because of aesthetics such as colour, typography and more but also communication and target audience and audience engagement
Looking at these agencies has made me realise how important teamwork is in graphic design and how everything plans out has to be in time and organised or you loose clients its also been made clear that we relay on clear communication, adaptability and feedback is also very important to have better quality work to make sure you are happy with the end result even if it means changes at last minute. Its also good to have collaborative creative teams in balance between individual creativity and try out everyone’s ideas even if it doesn’t go well because it builds up progress and creativity, its also work that can be added to portfolio and possibility try out for other projects to see if that works.
