Full Screen Web-Based Animation

The storyboard of this animation goes into a lot of detail there is bits and bobs that I had used in the actual animation but I had tried a few ways and none of them had worked the well as the final ending, originally I was going to use an sunset like background but I wasn’t able to do this and it still look good, I feel like the bold colours going with other bold colours made the animation fun, I had also drawn a few other storyboards but I took this one further as it’s the one I liked the most towards the end of finishing the other storyboards.

The animation is a small city with bright colours and gives a positive vibe, the start of the animation it’s a bright colourful city with a bright yellow sun, the sun rays coming off the sun was all done individually with the bright blue background, I’ve used bright colours mainly because it attracts people’s attention and makes people interested, I also wanted an cartoon like vibe to the web animation as it goes with the typography font and its fun and can aim at an large age group

As the city goes down, music notes rise up as sound coming from the city, resembling music coming from the city, cities are full of music, instruments, dancing just full of people with a creative mindset, as the notes go further up the clouds slowly come in with the typography logo and I like how the font matches with the clouds with the same colour pallet, I also had chosen this font because of the graffiti style that is added to groove city for the street city like feel. I also added some relaxed yet hip hop song to the animation as I really think this improves. open video in separate page to see

I also tried using a logo as the sun but I don’t like how it looked but it was fun to try as it was recommended by a few classmates

I had also used these tutorials to help me with certain effects
