An the art director makes sure that the vibe and feel and look is carried through the whole process and maintains work across platforms making everything is on time, no problems and that the brand looks good and they also give feedback, approves work and ensures the work is all good before publishing so the brand has no problems or issues. Art directors play a big role in campaigns and brands because they make sure the same meaning the website has carries on and doesn’t change.
The senior graphic designer is also important as they design typography, create layouts and branding assets they work very close with the art director and others and they provide feedback for younger less experienced designers and entry- level designers
The creative director leads the team, by making the core idea , makes sure that they have met clients goals and the agency’s creative vision works and they somewhat bring the team together as they all make role parts that are needed for a project to be done and complete with full satisfaction from both sides
The design director manages the team, makes sure the work is high quality and the highest they can get, they also support the art directors and all the rest of the rolls to ensure everything is being done and making sure the performance is at the highest they also help creative visions into realistic visions , they communicate with the stakeholders and creative directors
All though they sound very similar in a way they aren’t at all as an art director focuses on how the work should look and how all of it looks and controls how it goes and an senior graphic designer makes the work and the creative director makes the idea and defines the final idea and makes sure clients are satisfied and the agencies creative vison work well together and the design director manages the team, work performance and quality
The art director in Nike made sure that they are consistent with the sporty and energized feeling in the website, poster ads and video ads and the quality of the ads themselves are good and empowering when your wanting to give up you think don’t give up and make yourself feel positive and strong and nike does a similar thing in my mind
The unseen campaign is about domestic violence in north Korea, I really like how this campaign is shown as the poster design is an Asian woman with a bright red dot, I like how they have used bright red as its seen as danger or stop like you see on road signs and such and the un is under the dot and you can slightly see it and the seen in front , I found this campaign from lesson 5 2/2/26, the art director in this wanted it to stand out in the public eye, with bright red to show danger and stop .
