What are your plans for this project?
To create a website that will help participatory collective achieve their goals and to also make it accessible and well known for the people in hull and the surrounded areas. Take In opinions from those who have issues or the people who work with participatory collective problems and such about the website . the website will be somewhat like a central hub where people can find information easily and such on the projects and to share their experiences and to be able to connect with others that are involved with the local projects , it will aim to promote inclusivity by making sure regardless what background or ability can enjoy and contribute to the projects to ensure it’s a welcoming community
My final project for participatory collective will be a well designed website with bright, relaxing colours ,that is accessible for everyone for those who cant read well or blind will have an way of someone reading the website out load for them and the ones who struggle to see could also be able to zoom in for bigger writing or those who struggle to understand English could have an extension on the website to change into another language I want this website to be well organised , easy navigation , useful and up to date information and it to be accessible for anyone and everyone . It will also have good advisement on social media and in public with an easy qr code that will send them to all the links of different socials and the website ,The purpose of this website is to make an welcoming community In hull for everyone to join and to help other projects be supported by the people but to also make hull feel more safe and by having an good website that tells you everything , having up to date info and socials and having public advisement that will be shown in places such as restaurants , markets , train / bus stations and more help that happen!
I will achieve this from making prototypes and sketches and also by research from websites to socials to peoples reviews to see what works best and what doesn’t and also learning the problems with some companies, doing a lot of research will tell me what people need and like in websites and social media or video and picture ads. Being told what I can improve on and what that they need and want to improve on the website will help a lot also hearing peoples complaints will help with improvements and will be checked daily as I personally feel that a lot of company’s don’t listen to people’s opinions to the website or socials or they take months sometimes years to improve on the issues they have raised, I will also try other companies that make websites such as wix to see what is the best layout and features that work on not only laptop but phone and tablets too.
